Sorry that i have been away from blogger for quite a while! been having a busy week in school forthe past few days. I'm supposed to be concentrating on all my assignments yet I've been dragged for presentation for visitors. I'm not complaining. It's a good training for my presentation skills. It's just that my schedule is so pack! @_@
anyway i managed to finished up my 3d assignment. Decided to model out Donald Duck in 3d. i know others have done it before, but it was a good start for me to model out an existing character xD
another update again. I watched this in class yesterday. I was told it was oscar nominated film. :D very nice and creative. After all, we do live a world of brands and logo :3
School has reopen on Monday, and just yesterday, we had a recruiter from Lucasfilm Singapore to give us a talk. :D it was really inspiring, and it gives me loads of energy to finish up with our upcoming Rapunzel project :)
anyway, yesterday, just a few minutes before Advance 3d class ended, my lecturer showed us 2 new upcoming movie by Disney-Pixar, which should be out between 2012 and 2013.
we had Siggraph Screening in our campus earlier on in the afternoon just now. They showed us a 2 hour clip of animation and visual effects done by professionals and schools. Apparently, there'll be another Siggraph Screening in Hong Kong this year. Details are in the official website: http://www.siggraph.org/asia2011/
Here's the Siggraph Seoul 2010 trailer. got it from youtube. Enjoy!

p.s. Animatics of Rapunzel will be out soon. Wendy and Friends are currently working as hard as possible to finish up the animatics
i've been doing some sketches on my sketchbook during my free time in the weekend :) here they are!
anyway yesterday i did mural painting with some other students from other courses in my school at the void deck of block 56 Pipit Road. We had lotsa fun painting the blank white wall into blue and adding sunflowers. :D Ms Tin Pei Ling was also there too. hehehe. She actually remembered me and Wendy's faces when we did presentation at COE room for Animation course. xD so happy. It's my third time shaking her hand anyway. :P
here's our group photo:
my classmate, Benjamin and I posing on the painting we had painted on the wall xD
oh anyway, i'm going for ToonBoom Master class for the whole of next week. Can't wait to learn new stuff for class! :)
Hi guys! sorry i haven't been posting regularly these few days. I was getting sidetracked with improving my drawing skills and storyboarding. hehe. But guess what i have been doing last few days? i'm watching anime! and this time, finally i managed to finish the whole series of anime which usually i don't out of my busy schedule.
Yep, i watched Clannad, including the After Story. But i totally skip the movie, because i find the event moves too fast in the movie. Personally, i really like the anime series because of the way the story was being told. Instead going back to the past of how they met, they start off with the first meeting, then falls in love, and gets married. There were also many great shots in the series which shows strong emotions. I swear the After Story really made me cry. The reationship between Nagisa and Tomoya was blissful, yet painful. It really show the importance of family..Love, understanding and courage are what makes a family strong, and so far, i find this is one of the best stories i've watched so far. :D
Besides that, there were many funny scenes in the series. I managed to grab most funny scenes from Youtube, and will share it here :) happy watching!
